Well, I surpassed my goal weight for Diet Bet. My ultimate goal weight is still ~16 pounds away. Maybe I should do the six month challenge. Hmm.
I'm really hoping that I not only maintain the weight I've lost for the next ten days but that I keep losing. I mean realistically I'd probably only lose 2 pounds in the next 10 days. Maybe three. But it would be nice to just keep the scale going south.
I know that the scale isn't that important as far as weight loss goes because muscle is a big factor and all that. But right now I would still like to lose another 16 pounds of fat. If I built muscle on top of that loss and then gained weight due to muscle, I wouldn't mind.
It's weird because I'm tall (5'9) so anytime I start to lose weight people don't notice at first and then they're like "omg you're getting too thin!" even though my height has a ~30 lb spectrum of what is healthy.
But I like when I eat really healthy on top of working out because then I can start to see muscle definition. My friend Molly and I did the undie run together back in April and I was SUPER healthy eating then so you an see a line on my abs in the picture and I loved that! It has never been my goal to be super skinny, rather I want to be fit. I like being strong. And I like that I can flex my biceps or triceps or abs and SEE them.
Everyone has different goals and I think we all have to remember that's okay. As long as we are progressing towards them in a healthy way and the goal itself is healthy. :)
