This is my first experience with DietBet and I'm excited and a little nervous. I've lost 6-7 pounds in 4 weeks before but it's usually the same 6-7 pounds over and over. :) I've been working out consistently over the summer but really got serious about permanent changes last week. I re-started Jillian Michaels Body Revolution program for both exercize and a meal plan and had a really great week. I feel stronger than I have in a long time.
My biggest challenge will be cutting out alcohol. I can definitely tell the difference in my workouts and my results when I have more than a drink or two over the course of a week. It can swing the scale in the wrong direction and completey wipe out all of my hard work. It's tough because I live in a place where a glass of wine or an ice cold beer is part of most social gatherings. I know I can do it but, man is it tough! I just need to remind myself of how much better I'll feel 30 pounds from now and just say 'No Thank You' more often than I say 'Yes please!' and try to avoid those types of social gathering during the week.
My 'WHY' is looking fantastic in my skinny jeans. I already notice a difference from all of the time I have spent over the summer working out but I really would like to say goodbye to this darn belly fat. I'd like to wear a pair of jeans that start with the number 2 (28, 29) instead of a 3 (31 currently).
