First wear a brace and walk....low impact, swim if you can! Hmmmm.....comfort food, it depends what's your go to food? Can you modify to make it healthy?
I am recovering from a stress fracture in my foot from running and was wearing a walking boot for 2 months since June. It still isn't totally healed and I can't run yet which is frustrating bc I feel that is my main form of losing weight. I joined Diet Bet to help me get a better handle on my eating. I LOVE the site but it has been frustrating not to be able to exercise to my full potential! So I can relate. I need help in the comfort food department too! I have cheated here and there but the site has kept me a lot more mindful of what I am eating. I try not to get too hungry and I try to think of an item of clothing I want to look good in.
2 months, I can see how that is really frustrating! Are you doing other sorts of exercise in the meanwhile then? I really like your idea about the clothing! I have still a lot of clothes in my closet which are too small but I don't want to throw them away. I hope I will be able to fit into them again, someday :)
