I've lost 3.2 lbs so far. I'm not certain I'll make it to the full 4% by the end of this. I didn't start changing my eating habits until last week, and it shows.
I've completely cut soda out of my diet. I brew green tea and sweeten it with stevia to taste when I want to drink something sweet. I also drink water before and after each meal, and I'm working on changing how quickly I eat. I was brought up in a very hurried household. Eat quickly so we can go, go, go. Even now, I finish my plate a lot faster when I'm eating with friends or other family members. A friend of mine gently commented when we were out at breakfast that I should take the time to savor what it is that I'm eating. I agree with her.
This diet bet is my first, and I intend for it to be the first of many. What's better than getting paid to lose weight? SO COOL. Even if it's just making back my original bet.
