For about 2 weeks now, I have been working really, really hard. I am within a few pounds of hitting the 100# lost mark, and I am determined to get there. I've been writing down everything, food and exercise, making healthy choices (eliminating most added sugars and white flour), and have increased my activity (getting not only my 10000 steps a day, but also starting the Couch to 5K program and adding 1-2 extra workouts a week).
Aaaand, the scale keeps bouncing around about 1-2 pounds above the -100 mark, with no progress at all over the last two weeks. Measurements don't appear to be changing either. I'm worried that I'm not going to make my DietBet goal, which is even farther away than that -100 mark... and I am so frustrated to feel so stuck!
Yesterday and today I am focusing on water - trying to get some extra fluids and see if that makes any difference.
The good thing is that I feel better than ever. I have more energy, feel healthier, and feel great about doing so many good things for myself like the healthy eating and extra workouts. Starting running has been a secret goal of mine for a long time and one that I just never felt capable of, so the fact that I have not only started this program but have been able to stick with it and not miss a workout yet -- and see actual progress -- has felt so empowering and amazing. So, I am not tempted to give up or to stop what I've been doing at all.
I'm just really, really ready to see the scale move!!
