In order to limit eating all things processed and fast food I cook, A LOT! Preping, which is washing and dicing usually, is calming most of the time(depends if the little demon I take care of is willing to sit and play during this step). Morning prep is usually more time intensive since I make eggs with fresh veggies most mornings. Breakfast has become my favorite healthy meal because of all of the chopping(possible knife enthusiast).

Lunch I tend to take it easy on the chopping and work. By that point I am tired since the little grimlin, known as my nephew, has kept me busy and we have worked out/gone for a walk by then. So usually it is some sort of lettuce wrap or something with sweet potatoes.

Dinner well this is where all the dish explosions happen. Yes, I cook so I can eat healthy but I also cook because if I didn't my sister wouldn't. I am not a cereal for most meals fan(I can't drink milk and most cereals I like are horrible for me). The little big sis can eat it 24/7 and would often go without eating becase she says she forgets but I am certain it is due to laziness.

ANYWAY..........

I think hard about what to make for dinner because I care about eating real food that tastes good. The negative of making foods that are good that taste good they tend to be time and dish excessive. If you have ever made your own veggie pasta, by julienning veggies, you understand exactly what I mean. So after several tastey dishes during a single day there are always dishes(a good chunk of them are baby related too).

I thought after months of cooking dinner that the other adult in the house would do more then say thank you for dinner. But we do this crazy little dance that most sisters do and some how I still end up doing the mountain of dishes(specially during the week). On the rare, dishes are done by not me but there is usually a lot of tisking noises and huffs while doing them. HaHa it is pretty fun and annoying all in one shot. Seriously, if you have a sister you know exactly what I mean. So I lay here with my slightly pruney hands with a full belly really hoping that tomorrow I wont have to do the dishes, AGAIN!

As always Keeping It Moving.
