Day one of the challenge was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I ate some pizza late at night while playing old school Nintendo so I probably destroyed any gains I made throughout the day.

We shall see, I guess!

So far so good today. I am on vacation (my last day) so it's been easier to get up and work out in the morning. When I go back to work tomorrow I'll resume working out around 7 p.m. The best part about working is that I'm too busy to snack - or sometimes even eat lunch - to falter for 2/3 of the day.

Basically, I just have to not screw up between 5p-11p.

I'm eating a disgusting bowl of oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder mixed in. I'd rather get punched in the junk that eat this again, but I'm going to choke it down and go about my business.

My workout for the day is already in the books. It was back and legs day. I'll try to mix in some jogging or yoga tonight. But we'll see!

Deadlift: 4 sets of 12 reps, light weight with a curled bar

Bend Over Rows: 4 sets of 10 reps, light weight with a curled bar

Lateral Pulldowns: 4 sets of 10 reps, weights increasing first three sets and then a burnout at lower weight to finish (115, 130, 145, 100)

Seated Close-grip Rows: 4 sets of 8 reps, weight by set was 115, 130, 145, 145

Calf Raises: 3 sets of 15 on the Smith machine... all sets with 45-pound plates

Squats: 3 sets of 10 on the Smith machine... weights were 110, 175, 200 (Former Vikings offensive lineman Matt Birk said people who put like 8 plates on each side are idiots. He said it's not about the weight, it's about the form)

Leg Raises: 4 sets of 10, increasing weight each set

Hamstring Curls: 4 sets of 10, increasing weight each set

That's all for today. My brother Jimmy has convinced me to go to Perkins for lunch. I'll do my best to not eat too much shit. Good day!

Oh... we're going to go see "Fury" this afternoon, too. Oh hell yeah... vacation rocks!
