My steps backward happened a day after Thanksgiving. A friend brought over leftovers which happened to be our only Thanksgiving meal this year. The gravy was gluten free and oh so good! I think I had some (yep just the gravy) every day for about 4 days. And it was best cold. I'm weird like that....I like leftovers cold typically.
What pushed me forward was thinking that I want to reach my goal weight at the end of the year. My friend, Christie, mentioned diet bet and we are both doing it together. I try to remember that often if I overeat, I don't feel well. Even the next day I feel like I'm dragging. So why go thru that??! It doesn't even make sense. Why not treat my body the way it was meant to be taken care of. Right? Yes, there will be times that I can eat sweets, but right now I'm on a mission. I've set my eyes on a goal weight for Jan. 1, 2015 and I'm on my way to meeting that goal. I have to say doing this diet bet has really been awesome and keeping me accountable to healthy eating.
