Turkey-Sausage-Egg-Muffin recipe
I need to start my day right but I am not up to making breakfast in the morning. I like to sleep too much. My usual breakfast burrito or fast food breakfast needs to go. That's what helped me to my highest weight and before picture. I have a batch of these turkey sausage egg muffins in the oven. I'm hoping that I can freeze them and zap them in the microwave for a quick easy meal. I make frozen burritos for my husband and this is mostly like them minus the flour tortilla so I hope it works.
Other breakfasts I've tried are the whole protein shake from Dr. Hyman's 10 day detox. They were healthy but it takes some work putting them together. I looked them up on My Fitness Pal and they are 500 calories. I did lose weight on the 10 day detox but I'm counting calories this time around. I went back to my old eating habits after the 10 day detox.
I also used to regularly eat oikos strawberry greek yogurt with granola. That was an easy, high protein breakfast too but sugar. Sometimes it seems like you can't win. So what does everyone eat for breakfast? Any suggestions?
