The older I am getting the more I am hating winter. It sucks any motivation out of me. I would prefer to hibernate in a hole untill the warm sun returns with daylight and outdoor activities. I know from many fitness experts that with fitness and exercise my energy would increase but for the most part I feel I need a miraculous energy burst from somewhere to propel me to that first step of exercising to obtain energy to even get started. today is the first day for this diet bet and I have managed with much resistance to do some squats and sit ups so I guess that is a start.......

I'm with you. I think I suffer from seasonal disorder. The key is to stay focused. The weight will always be there, sunlight or not, winter or not. Keep on going.
