Excellent point.... While the fat seems to dissipate slower around your midsection it is only because that is where it is more highly concentrated. The areas of your body where fat is thinner will show progress quicker like your face and chest. Keep up the great work and as the fat is replaced with muscle your metabolism will greatly increase to help feed the muscle and soon you will be seeing great results in those areas that seem to slowly shrink!!

uuugh this is my problem now lol. I have about 5-10 pounds of excess fat I am still trying to get off before I hit maintenance and I think 80% of it is on my stomach..but my body does not want to burn in that area. I think it's a survival instinct from what I've read. Thanks for the motiviational blog, I know if I stick to my healthy habits it will come off eventually! We can do it!

ugh I hate that! I like to feel sore because I know it means my body is changing but sheesh. It can hurt alot! My shoulders are really weak, I've been working on them and they're slowly getting stronger but it drives me crazy when they're in pain! Hope your arm gets better soon!

Thank you for this! I've been doing lots of weight lifting lately and I usually don't feel it until two days after. Today I was updating a project schedule board and had to use my arm lifted above my head, it was so difficult!

Finding ones that work and are enjoyable is definitely the way to turning it into our life style. Thanks for sharing.

I agree. When I tried to follow crash diets I would always gain all the weight back plus some. This year I just started replacing things. I replaced cheetos with low cal string cheese and whole wheat crackers (for the crunch) and chocolate ice cream with fruit blended ice cream with a 2 drops of nonfat choc syrup (tastes practically the same with 1/4 the calories!) Thanks for the informative blog!
