Considering a healthy average is 1 or 2 lbs/week losing .8/day is really great and pretty typical for the first week when your body is adjusting to the new program. It is normal to see your loss slow after the initial week. The challenge is to stick with your healthy new program and you will see the weight come off. This is from someone who took 2 years to lose 65ish lbs (that's about 0.6lbs/week). Keep on doing what you are doing 30/45 minutes of exercise 5/6 days/wk. A healthy well rounded diet of fruits, veggies, protein, and whole grains. Make choices you can live with for the rest of your life. Remember this is a lifestyle change, not a diet. Good luck.
