I like to use My Fitness Pal too. Sometimes its easier for me to track calories eating out because you can usually find the nutrition info if you're eating at a chain restaurant. Here in California (I don't know if its the same everywhere) restaurants are required to provide nutrition information. If you know in advance where you're going to be eating you can search a few possible meals on My Fitness Pal and see what the calories will come to. Last night I ate at Red Robin and found that you can order a burger with a "lettuce bun," which was a good option. You can do it!
