GOOD MORNING HUNGRY PEOPLE!
How about that selfie of me! You know, it's all in the angle ! hahaha If I take the picture down a bit i have like 3 chins and I look like I have spent a rough 70 years on this planet. If I take the picture straight on, then I just look my age, but round face but only 1 chin. However, holding the camera up several inches, gives me a nice 'chin lift' and I think I look younger... maybe 45???
Come on.. even without makeup... at least 47!!!
The real interesting thing about selfies, and I just kinda came to this at Christmas time while talking to my daughter-in-law's father, is that I think I like myself more. That is an interesting benefit to selfies, don't you think?
Enough of that, I need to go to the store! Grab and go snack foods in this house are now limited to tomatoes and cheese! I thought I would post my shopping list for you. ITALIAN SEASONINGS FOR SALAD DRESSING found on pinterest
1 tablespoon garlic salt *
1 tablespoon onion powder *
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley*
¼ teaspoon celery salt*
2 tablespoon salt
I have all the above ingredients except for the starred ones.
Now the Italian Dressing instructions I found on All Recipes.
It suggested that you mix these dried ingredients and keep in a tightly sealed container. When you are ready to use them, whisk together ¼ cup white vinegar (I will probably use apple cider as I only clean with white and kill weeds with it) and 2/3 cup canola oil (will use olive most likely if I use any oil at all) and 2 tablespoons of the mix.
I plan to perhaps try just sprinkling the mixed spices on my salad. I haven’t done this yet so I will let you know. If you do this first, please let me know how it tastes!
OK – gotta go to the store! HAPPY HEALTHY DAY to all!!
