I'm a calorie-counting, nutrition-tracking nut! I recommend everyone schedule a meeting with a nutritionist so you can understand what YOUR body needs. MyFitnessPal.com is a wonderful site though that will give you calorie goals as well as nutrition goals so you can plan accordingly. My breakfast this morning was whole wheat toast (SaraLee, 45 cal/slice), 1/3 cup vegetarian refried beans (60 cal), 1/4 Avocado (80 cal), and a negligible amount of onion. I got whole grains, protein, healthy fat, and lots of fiber. For 230 calories.
