Last week was my first week in a four week "consistency project" that I have set for myself. I am striving to consistently reach five goals: 1) exercise 5 to 6 days a week, 2) eat 1350 calories 6 days a week, 3) bed by 10:15 PM Sun - Friday, 4) take a multi-vitamin, 5) drink 88 oz of water a day.

I successfully followed those goals for 5 of the days and that was even with having company twice and eating at someone's house a 3rd night. The first night I had company I simply measured my food in the ktichen and put my filled plate on the table where I was sitting so I knew exactly how much I was eating. My company could have as much as they wanted. The second night of company I didn't have internet access and thus no way to accurately count my calories but I think I did a fairly good job of doing so. The night I went to someone's house my friend had told me in advance what we were having so I estimated the calories before I went over. I happened to overestimate so when I got home I was able to even eat a little more!

Day 7 I did not have a calorie restriction. I've decided that I want one day a week that I do not feel like I'm obsessing over diet and exercise. I want a day of rest from it all. I did go a little overboard on my 7th day so I need to work on that without resorting back to counting calories. I really don't want to do that one day a week.

Yesterday was day 8 and the start of week 2. I started off strong and ended up going overboard on the calories. Today I'm back doing what I need to do.

This past week I lost over 3 lbs. I know I've gained that back in the last two days because of my eating but I am sure it's going to fall off this week as I get back on track. On to week two!
