I started back with my athletic dance class tonight. I've always loved to dance. I won't say I'm any good in that class, because I'm not, but I love to move and I love to watch my teacher move. His dancing is truly a thing of beauty.
I don't have a scale at home so I use the one at the gym. A couple of reasons for that: one, it gives me a reason to go, more than even the workouts. Two, I don't get obsessive about things.
I gained my kilo back, but I'm not as bummed about it as I thought I would be. I know these workouts are doing good. That toning class (otherwise known as Hell Hour, see Stairmaster blogpost) is meant to build muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Simple. Would I like to see pounds melting away? Of course. That's just not how it's going to work this time around.
