I can definitely relate to your situation. It's really hard, but it's about making choices. I agree with Michigan, if you do go out with them definitely try to portion things. If I was in your shoes, I would limit my going out to maybe once a week. I used to go out all the time (like everyday!(sometimes lol))! Anyways, I notice a difference in my weight, well being, and life when I limit my outings! Instead, suggest other activities to your friends...signing up for a 5k, painting class, etc. Sometimes it's hard to convince people. In that case I would look for activities that your friends would actually like going to. With the examples above: I've been to 5ks that have an after drink celebration/ after party. Or you can take a byob painting class, so whoever wants to drink can and whoever doesn't isn't left out and can save their calories haha. You clearly don't need the motivation, but partaking in those activities would be a win-win for everyone!
