Travis, this post really spoke to me today. I have always been one to brush off a compliment or instead of just saying thank you I feel the need to qualify it or down play it. I have always been one that while I am ok with being in the spotlight (I need to be pushed there) I don't seek it. Getting a compliment always made me feel uncomfortable. I am getting better with it and say thank you but still second guess it. I am great at telling someone else how great they are or even to take a flying leap (politely) but could never take a compliment myself. I want to thank you for your honesty and perspective on this subject. I needed to see it, to know that I am not the only one that does this and to realize that it is ok to say thank you and walk away. Thank you for your strength and wisdom. My name is Valerie and I am beginning to shine. Shine on Travis
