If you can’t do it for the rest of your life, it’s not going to work. Do you plan to live the rest of your life never having donuts again? I don’t! Now is the time to learn how we’re going to eat for the rest of our lives. No point getting to a goal weight understanding fully how to diet, but not having a clue about how to eat thereafter. I think learning to stop at 1 or 2 is really the key to long term success.
