How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

This was my first Dietbet ever and I have to post here to thank Lexi and all the other players who helped motivate me and get me back on track. I put myself back in the equation with this game, and did a reset to work on my issues with binging to numb feelings and deal with stress. I hit the -4% goal (barely) and I know I can stick to the plan with accountability, support and structure, while simultaneously working on the behavior patterns and habits that got me here, twice. I lost -200 lbs once and kept it off for nearly a decade. I was a health coach and an inspiration to others like Lexi, then I made a huge life transition that had me feeling lonely and isolated, stressed, and dealing with grief and those life long patterns/habits came back to cope. So now, I am at it again and working on emotional, spiritual, and physical, and just very happy to be here. Thank you all for your encourgement and support. Congrats to all for being here! Thank you Lexi for your leadership and inspiration. - Lori (IntheEquation)
