I definitely had a few treats between Friday-Sunday. But I also made a big batch of chicken and veggie soup. My mindset is no longer “all or nothing”. I can get back on track faster. I can drink a Smirnoff and then fill my water bottle. I can have a piece of candy then eat a veggie filled meal. Eating a piece of candy is not permission to give up eating healthy for the rest of the day. These little games we play in our heads where we say “Oh, I fell off the wagon, guess I’ll start Monday” are just an excuse! Every eating opportunity is a choice. We can make a good choice immediately after making a not so great choice.
