Hi, Ashley. How is this DietBet going for you? If I understand your chart, it's a little slower than you'd like? Jay and I are struggling along. I took my weigh-out as my beginning weight, and that is very hard for me to make the second DietBet then. But I am not giving up. I am going to do some intermittent fasting, along with the 5 fruits/veggies and lean protein, but I'm not sure it's going to get me there!! But I love the Lord and know that He loves me at ALL my various weights!

Hi, Ashley. Jay and I are doing it together, too, and it makes all the difference. He's slowly begun to participate in more aspects of the bets, and we love our little goal chart. I just broke out into a light sweat just walking around the house - hooray! I am at 7k out of my 12k goal so far. I look forward to winning this together with you and Mike!

Great job Ashley! It's th home stretch! I learned a ton about walking stairs yesterday as a cardio workout. Someone about our size, just walking, not running them, burns 286 calories in a half hour! I can do it for about 3 minutes, so I'm going to work on increasing during my indoor walks over the next couple months. I can't do too many now, because I don't want to retiring water for the weigh out, but I'm excited to burn so much so quickly, if I can ever do it.

Wow! I think I remember doing the Stairmaster in the gym in college and being amazed at how many calories I was burning. I'm jealous of you - my knees now are so bad I can't do stairs as exercise (when I go up stairs, every step, my knew sounds like someone is ripping Velcro apart). :(
