Best of luck! They say you get 8 seconds off your mile time for every 5 lbs you lose, or around 7 minutes in a marathon for losing 10 lbs. That's what I'm hoping anyway ;)

My first and only diet bet previously ended the day before I traveled for the Marine Corps MArathon. I cut about 2.5-3 lbs in the last two weeks eating clean and then carb loading for 36 hours and I think it helped a lot. I had a great race and came in 2.5 minutes under the time I was going for.

That's awesome. I ran MCM last fall as well. It was my mid-race of the season. AC is atlantic city btw.
