My sister invited me, and at first, I didn't even read the email because I figured it was something gimmicky. The next morning, I was bored lying in bed, so I read it. I went to the website to read "the fine print". I immediately called her, gushing about how this could be it for me! And, so far, it has been! The only other time I've felt this motivated to lose weight was right before my wedding.

At first, I thought, "How sad is it that greed motivates me this much?", but the longer I analyzed it, I realized it's not the greed. It's the fact that there is a specific timeline with specific goals and a consequence for not hitting those goals. Before, it was always something private. (Myfitnesspal) If I didn't lose weight, no big deal. No one cared but me, and there was nothing to drive me. Now, I have something specific to work toward, and there are definitely consequences, however small they may be, they are still there. There is no one to blame for losing my money except me!!
