We celebrated Thanksgiving over the weekend and I was proud of myself for being more moderate with my eating than usual. However I’m still up today so it doesn’t look good for my progress weigh in. I don’t think it’s possible to gain 2 actual pounds that quickly so I’m assuming it’s water. If I’m really careful today and tomorrow, perhaps I’ll show progress by tomorrow night. We shall see! In the mean time, does anyone know if progress weigh-ins are required ?

As far as I know, progress weigh ins are only needed if you're a member and want to be entered to win that week's prize.

And yes, it sounds like water weight. I always say, if you can gain it that quickly you can lose it just as fast. Good luck!

Hi Beverly! Progress weigh-ins are not required, but if you have a DietBet membership you can submit one progress weigh-in per week. These weigh-ins don't count against you :) They are just meant to help you stay on track and they also enter you into our prize drawings which take place every Thursday morning.
