I always knew sugar was bad but like you, it's my biggest weakness. I've been doing much better about it since starting the first diet bet, but dang it is hard! My mom made an awesome two layer cake for Annaliese's birthday this weekend and I've been eating it... Needless to say not a good food weekend. I'm bringing the leftovers to work tomorrow and letting them finish it off! Interesting to hear about alkalinity in foods. I'll look into that more.
