I have had 3 knee surgeries and totally feel your pain on limitations! No impact will be your best friend! I do a lot on the bike and elliptical because they are no impact. Yoga is also an amazing way to burn your calories- using your own body weight and getting your stretch in tones muscles you forgot you had and burns calories without the impact you have to your knee from running or a lot of cardio activities! Good luck and don't get discourage when you have to take an extra day off because your knee hurts!
