  • I’m aiming to be an even 2 lbs down by Monday morning. I am hosting a family party Sunday night. Plan:
kickboxing today and tomorrow, 7.5K steps today and tomorrow (today it will be done on the treadmill during a work call)
Arakifit workout on Sunday morning. Since I don’t have time for steps I’ll hit the trampoline for 20 mins after that workout.
I’ll keep posting my tracker at the end of each day for accountability.

Hello everyone! Very excited to be joining you all on this pre-Christmas challenge!
I am a working mother of two young children, and spend a lot of time trying to make sure the children have healthy meals, but then I eat all their leftovers plus a lot of unhealthy food during the evening after the kids go to bed….
I also had two major surgeries this year, and am still in the recovery period for the most recent surgery, so I’m not able to exercise for a few more weeks still. Very frustrating to be house-bound, and my weight has been creeping up very quickly…
So finding this challenge is just the motivation I was hoping for before Christmas! I’ll do my best. Good luck to everyone else!

My dad once said he got fat from shame: “It’s a shame to waste all that good food the kids have left behind.” But sometimes you just have to throw it out. I always tell myself my kids brought germs home from school and if I eat their food, I might get sick. It helps!

@Allan - thanks for the humour! And yes, the germs part does help! :joy:
