I gave up soda 3 months ago, you can do this! I basically just cut it out completely and drank water ALLLL the time. Its hard when you go out to eat because you're so accustomed to soda with dinner though. Just keep water with you at all time, and I found that counting the days I went without drinking soda was really helpful and made me less likely to relapse. Also keep some tylenol on hand because you might go through caffeine withdrawl, and make sure you drink something yummy like chocolate milk or lemonade so you don't miss soda's "flavor". I can't even remember the taste of soda now, and I used to drink 4+ bottles a day :)
