Go Paula, that is awesome! My best advice is, don't try anything new on race day. Try out all your nutrition out first. I usually eat a rice cake with peanut butter in the morning, when i get up, or on my way to the race. I eat a banana in transition, about 30 minutes before the race starts. I usually do a gel on the bike, and take a gel on the run, just in case. Sometime I take Sport Beans, cuz i like those too. There are all kinds of gels out there, so find one that you can stomach. I like one called 2nd Surge because its not really thick and easy to digest. Drink electrolyte drinks in the days before the race, that really helps! Let me know if you have ANY questions..
