Quick update: Today, I've been swimming. I could't swim very fast, because the pool was full, but I managed to stay on around 121 heart beats/minute, which should be adequate weightloss wise.
I continue with my 30 day flat belly challange - today, I am on day 10 and I've already done my 55 situps, 38s of plank (I had to devide it to 20s & 18s, but well, at least I tried :D My record was 35s) and 55 cross-situps.
I keep my diet clean (except few moments ago I had some chocolate and I feel super guilty now :/). Only thing that makes me worry is that my weightloss kind of stopped, which is not very nice. Hopefully, this week is going to be better :)
My 5 fav meals (keep scrolling :D) :
1. Greek cheese salad - pepper, cucumber, tomatoes and greek cheese. So simple, yet so delicious. Great to use it instead of the side dish (potatoes, rice, etc.) together with chicken. Or, sometimes I have it for dinner :)
2. Toastie - when I am in rush and I don't have the time to prepare lunch, yet I want something hot/warm in my belly. Two wholemeal toasts, I slice of cheese and few slices of ham. Put it in oven on grill and you are good to go. Quick, simple and better than average toasts, because the cheese melts in this case :)
3. Almond-honey muffin - I love baking. Especially muffins. Since I have lots of stuff left from my chocolate-muffins baking time, I decided to use it up before I move. I used almond flakes instead of chocolate chips, honey instead of sugar and so on. In future, I am planning on using non-white flour, but right now, I am just trying to use up whatever I have right now. I also put in banana for extra sweetness. If you want proper recipe for super-healthy muffin, just have a look on youtube, there is plenty of them! Great solution for sugar cravings and together with some yoghurt - a great snack!
4. Salmon and rice - Ideal (weekend) lunch for me. I love the fish, it is healthy and full of protein and good fat. The rice could've been brown, but as I mentioned, I am just trying to use whatever I have in the kitchen right now. I also love to put some vegetable in instead of rice, or potatoes.
5. Rich dinner - this beautiful big plate is made up of around 30% veggies, which is a great accomplishement for me :D there is one wholemeal toast with smoked salmon (proteins, yay!), few grams of greek cheese in the middle, 2-3 slices of ham and one hard-boiled egg. Great for an early dinner. I usually eat between 8-9 PM and this keeps me full for next few hours before I go to bed (usually around midnight).
I hope you find my article inspirational and please, share your favourite foods with me/us :)
Good luck with your dietbet! :)
P.S.: Sorry for the weird format of this blog, but the picture formatting doesn't work very well and because of my exams I don't really have time to go through the code now. I will fix this error later, so thank you for concentrating mainly on the content :)
