I hope you do not mind, but I am going to be blunt. I am a father, husband and a fellow binger so I understand where you are coming from. Firstly and possibly most importantly, binging is not shameful or disgusting and it certainly does not make you a shameful or disgusting person. You need to understand that and hopefully take it to heart, the habits that you have, good or bad, do not dictate the kind of person that you are. I read your excuses that you use to justify your binge and they are the words that say to myself, word for word. You are not the only person that has ever told themselves these lies. Laura D is not wrong, there are healthier ways of having a cheat. Here is where I will be blunt. You need to want to be healthy more than you want that binge. Until you start telling yourself that right now, today I will decide to do better, you are always going to be waiting for tomorrow. I waited for tomorrow to come for 7 years and finally one day, I decided that I wanted it today, not tomorrow. There is no easy road here, it is a mental fight and you will fall off of the wagon. There will come a point on your journey when you will stop hoping, wanting, thinking and it will become I know I can do this, I will do this and you will not stop me. It takes time and determination. Have faith in yourself, you can do it. You are the only one that can make you do it. I am blunt, not to be mean, but because I truly do care because I understand your battle. It is my
