So, 14 days left of my first Dietbet, and I have reached my goal weight! I am super excited, but I know it's just the first step of a long journey. Every day it's making the right choices, planning ahead, and moving forward with the goal in mind. 4% comes a little easier when you have so much extra weight..for my body frame/height (5 feet, 4 and a half inches), I should be around 130-140lbs and..when I started this first DB...I was at 201.4. Eep! I broke down and just cried on my boyfriend's shoulder for a good 20 minutes. This was not how I wanted to be when I turned 30. I lost 50+ lbs 5 years ago, and here it was.. all back on. I knew I couldn't let the numbers on the scale keep going up..so I joined this DB, got a FitBit, and go on MyFitnessPal regularly. I just need to keep my motivation going. I created another DB for right before my cruise and I think when I am back, I will join a Transformer. I have done this before, where I started being healthy and then I stop. Luckily, my boyfriend is committed to being healthy along with me this time. He helps me say no to certain foods and I help him walk more. This time...NO GIVING UP! Here's to what the next 2 weeks bring!

Great job! My first Kickstarter was easy and I think I probably reached my goal then about as early as you have! This is my second Kickstarter (along with another and a Transformer) and it's not as quick this time, but I'm still working hard and right now I'm at 48%. Right around where I should be, but it's still making me nervous! I totally understand losing weight over again. I've lost 30-40 about 3 times before! Definitely frustrating to put it back on, but I know those were really stressful times too. My husband is being very supportive as well. He washes all the dishes after I do the cooking, and he's very glad to be eating healthier and working out again too. It's great to have that support! Congrats again on your great work!

This is such an incredibly motivating story! I absolutely believe you can reach each and every goal you put your mind to. i think when we recondition our minds to think first about health and less about the scale our lifestyles change and the weight follows. When you put the scale first, it's much harder to accomplish the long term goals. So keep focused on being the healthiest you possible, not only physically but mentally, spiritually too. Sounds like you have a great support in your BF. Tell him to keep you accountable on your journey and enjoy! Would love to hear how you're doing even after this challenge is done. Send me notes on my Facebook page from time to time. I'm rooting for you! Xo Karina
