Way to go! That's really great! How do you keep your feet from not hurting? I think I need new running shoes because I get to about 11,000-12,000 steps and my feet feel sooo tired.

Oh man, I have these Nike shoes and I've had them for about 2 years!! I gotta get new ones because I've been walking 6-7 miles daily for a while now...

I missed this blog (don't know why) but I love the energy you have when posting about the walking!! you are doing amazing!! as for shoes there is a rule of thumb about milage and length of time you have had your shoes. I just cant remember right at the moment but 3-6 months stick in my mind. I know that would be quite expensive if you stick to that schedule but if you are experiencing tired, achy feet and legs it is time to change. I usually go to a store called the running room, not sure if it is just Canadian or not but the staff are very helpful and will help you find shoes for your sport and your gait (how you stride) and the surface that you are on. The shoes are pricey but I think it is totally worth it
