yup!!! this is my thought pattern, well maybe not quite. but still I work hard to only lose 2 lbs. IN A MONTH!! sometimes!! I just cant seem to stop comparing myself to other who lose 5lbs in two weeks!! then I remember my health, of course I have to deal with a sluggish thyroid so that puts a different spin on my weight loss journey. I remind myself that while it is slow, I am ____ lbs since this time last year. I can walk 5k in less than an hour, I did aerobics twice a week through the fall and into early spring (only sessions I missed was when I was travelling) Oh and then when I travel I find the closest grocery store and buy healthy stuff for in the hotel room, I limit my trips to restaurants (although who wants to do that all the time) My body part of contention right now is my belly, it just doesn't seem to want to leave me!! once I have burned some more of that off I will be able to look better in some of my smaller sized pants!! yes I am vain but damn it I should be able to look good too!! That is my process today!! Thanks for reminding me that sometimes it is just about how far you have come and not how far you have to go!! (oh do a blog on setting goals)
