I love cauliflower too!! I have roasted it with Brussels sprouts and some broccoli coated slightly with some olive oil ( I now have the really good stuff!!) and a sprinkling of sea salt (it is good for you) and some cayenne pepper or the like. so yummy!! you roast until it is soft and turning brown. I still prefer it raw (don't mind the taste or lack of) but if I cook it that is what I do. As for the fruit spoiling in the fridge, I hear you!! I had to throw out half a clam shell container of raspberries today, I did manage to get my one lunch time serving from it and it was only a 6 oz container but damn I just bought it on Saturday!! I am at 2 fruit servings and two veggie servings. I looked at my bag of salad today and mixed and dressed at 1 cup it is 150 calories and I eat about 2 or 2.5 cups. I think that is a good amount calories wise for lunch. My next fruit serving is sitting on my desk next to me with my yogurt.
