Morning weigh-in: 162.4

I almost couldn't believe my eyes! I'm only half a pound away from hitting my goal! And I didn't do a single workout yesterday :/ Was so tired when we finally got home that I showered and took a nap. Got up, ate dinner (a brat and some red cabbage sauerkraut. yum), then sat around with the husband and watched TV for a bit. Wrote in my journal, then fell asleep again. So I was probably below my calorie goal for the day, but I burned practically nothing. 

You hear a lot of stories about people actually being able to bust through a plateau when they stop trying so hard. It's probably just because you shake things up a bit. Whatever it is, I'll take it! 

Today it's back to restricted calories and working out. The sister in law called last night (I had a very half asleep conversation with her) asking if I wanted to come over and work out, so that will likely be happening. We'll either do leftovers for lunch and then cook or wing it for lunch and eat leftovers for dinner.

We're looking at a lot of chicken and veggies this week. I have 4 chicken dishes lined up for dinners, as well as a vegetarian meal. I bought veggie burgers for me to eat with additional veggies for lunch. Breakfast goes back to a hard boiled egg and a V8 juice. I thought of cutting my coffee for the week, but then rethought that. Just because I want to lose weight doesn't mean I should give up one of my favorite things in the world :) Still just having one cup each day, though. 

So here we go, kids. LET'S DO THIS.
