Well, the title for this blog(although not the years) fits perfectly for today, because I am really feeling like I am eating right, and it is not a struggle anymore to do so. It makes me feel more in touch with my body, and like I have taken the first steps for perfect health.

Not that I do not have thoughts of food that is bad for me, but I am able to banish them with reason, instead of giving in and entering a downward spiral.

Pretty good for a week and a half.

In another week and a half I will be beginning the restriction part of my plan: actually watching the amounts I eat. It is not scaring me as much as it did two weeks ago. With my cravings coming under control, everything seems (and IS!) easier.

So far I am down 5 pounds, just from eating good food. Thank you, body, for stepping up.
