so I planned to do intermittent fasting today, miss breakfast, and only eat between 1pm and 5 ish pm, but I caved and made fantastic low carb pancakes at about 8 am after my toddler twins had an early morning wake up. but I kept to my plan in a way, by then having lunch at around one, and have fasted this evening instead!
this is huge progress for me as very often in the past I have so suffered from the "f**k it" syndrome, where once I waver, I cant stop, and then start eating crappy carby junk.
also on another note, since watching this great documentary called 'Fed Up' and also addictivly watching 'my 600 lb life' - I have totally changed the way I now view excess weight - mine and everyone else's.
I now see overweight as a symptom of ingesting the poison that is refined carbohydrate, sugar and fructose.
IT's not an issue of personal moral failure !!!
I was raised on orange juice, apple juice, bread, pies, potato's and pasta, and my mother was aghast to see me pile on the pounds year after year - on her low fat, healthy plan. - now I know that that was not her fault, not my fault. it is a systemic fault caused by the US and UK governments flawed food policies that I wont go into (its all in that documentary)
anyway, good night and good luck !
