Hey guys -
It is absolutely INSANE how one day can either make or break your progress! I slipped up yesterday - went shopping when I was hungry, and went out drinking with some frans (had too much tequila and vodka) and ended up gaining a couple pounds o.0. *Eye twitches* I don't regret anything that happened yesterday, only that I failed to portion control. Honestly, I miss pizza rolls and tequila, but I realize now that I need to control myself when I am around that stuff lol.
I'm struggling with something on the side - an internal battle realizing that NOBODY SHIPS TREADMILLS TO MY HOME STATE. So now I'm resigned to either running outside (which my neighborhood is sketch af) or getting a gym membership - which, honestly, will I use it? I'm a huge fan of at home workouts so I don't really trust myself with a gym membership.
I guess we shall see what the future holds - I need to make a decision quick. I figure if I don't do anything about my desire to become a runner and start running either outside or at the gym, then I have to right to complain about me not being a runner. We shall see.
Lesson - Never forget about portion control, even during a night out with friends:) Don't shop while hungry and I've no right to complain if I don't try to do anything about my situation!

Sign in to CommentI can definitely relate to pretty much all of it. When I get up the gumption to run, I rotate between outside and at the gym. I try not to think about the money I've "wasted" by not going by thinking about the days I do go.
Consider a desk bike. Basically an indoor bike with a desk attached so you can do work or watch Netflix etc. Makes the miles go by fast. We have nearly 6 mo of winter so this has worked well for me. Ordered on AMazon, 200 bucks or less.
