Consider a desk bike. Basically an indoor bike with a desk attached so you can do work or watch Netflix etc. Makes the miles go by fast. We have nearly 6 mo of winter so this has worked well for me. Ordered on AMazon, 200 bucks or less.

I can definitely relate to pretty much all of it. When I get up the gumption to run, I rotate between outside and at the gym. I try not to think about the money I've "wasted" by not going by thinking about the days I do go.
