I feel like I am getting my feet under me with the new school schedule. Sheesh.
Got the HS carpool to school then headed into workout at work. Did 2.5 miles running on the treadmill with extra for w/u and c/d. 51 minutes, about 3.2 miles total. Stretching afterward.
I'm going to start doing one or two body parts a day - around 10 minutes or so - to get in some weight work. Since this looks to be my new 'normal' routine. Only way to fit in a video would be to (1) get up at 4:30 am ... I don't see how I can go to sleep early enough to make that happen; or (2) bring a laptop and workout at work (which would be weird with a group of co workers working out at the same time, right?!)
So my plan going forward for a few weeks
Mon: steady state TM run 2.5 miles for a other week or two
Tues: speed intervals on TM for 10 intervals with w/u and c/d plus 10 mins weights on back and biceps
Wed: Short Cardio Coach and legs of some kind
Thursday: same as Monday
Friday: Cross training - should I do a self made tabata workout??? Cardio Coach on the elliptical?? Plus Shoulders and abs
Sat: Long run - 5-6 miles with 5 mins run/ 1 min walk.

Well, between the week of vacation and then the weekend of celebration for my son's 14th birthday, last week I started to regain control. Weight is up a bit and I won't be making my dietbet goal that ends this week ... but I can buckle down and start to focus on eating and meal prep again.
