Hey, Ellie, I think bruising can be a sign of anemia as well. Spinach and other greens are high in iron (and my surfacy internet research tells me that increasing vitamin C helps your body absorb iron). I've been told that calcium decreased your body's ability to absorb iron. If your fatigue and bruising don't go away, you might want to add some red meat and/or lentils in to your diet. Thanks for the suggestions Jessi :) Nice - Dark leafy greens and more vitamin C was what I tried last juice cleanse around - I think they're definitely helping, but I think a protein deficiency might be part of my problem too. The juicing website says I shouldn't worry about that, but I think my body needs an unusual amount of it. I'll be adding a pea/brown rice protein powder to my drinks today and hoping it helps...
