I went to Black Angus last night. For those of you that don't have this chain it's a steak house. I didn't want to go, but my daughter begged me to go. I went to the fair the night before, so I was trying to avoid more tempting eating situations. (Although i did good at the fair). I ended up with an appetizer that I added a side salad to. That wasn't bad except the amount of salt wasn't helpful. I also ordered a skinny Margarita that added an additional 150 calories. I wish I knew what my total calorie count was, but needless to say the scale didn't move this morning, but that means it didn't move up either!!! So since I'm not trying to lose too fast this might have been a good move as I was dropping pretty fast the last few days. I usually drop fairly fast when I put my mind to it and without starving myself, but dropping too fast in this game could get me booted, so I'm really trying to be conscious of the slow and steady concept. All in all it was good. I"m super excited about getting my shape back and my doctor will be thrilled!

Congrats on making good choices and not going overboard. In these situations, you can always ask how they ma j e the food and guesstimate. Also, a steakhouse I usually go with a small steak and steamed vegetables (no butter), and n maybe a sweet potato. That's always a safe bet.
I'm a fast looser (initially) too, then I slow down a bit or stall ... then I loose a lot again! Never just a steady looser, so I feel you!
In any event, I thought Id offer some advice: I find that most chain restaurants offer nutritional information on their sites. (If not, sometimes a google search will come up with the info from another site.) Sure, its an estimate and eating on the lighter site is always a good idea, but at least its less of a guessing game!! :)
Good luck!! -Jennie
