Why I weigh myself daily

I weigh myself every day too! I feel like if I was weighing myself every week I'd get nervous and impatient and if I wasn't totally good on the day before a weigh-in and I went up I'd get discouraged and thing that reflects on my whole week. I totally understand. I think seeing how your actions and choices affect you daily can help encourage good habits and help correct bad ones faster. Maybe weekly works better for some people, but like you said, it depends on the person.

Just like diet and exercise programs. There are many ways to eat right and many ways to stay active, but different people will enjoy or find it easier to stick to different programs and plans, so it could be the same for how (and how often) people measure progress.
