Great job! Inspiring. I can relate to your numbers. Care to share your workout? I need your arm secrets. :)
Sure! I started out with kickboxing/strength training with resistance bands- which was a blast! Since the class has been over I have continued w/resistance bands at home. 3-4 Exercises per muscle group (split it up to an upper body day/lower body day) 16 slow reps, 16 fast reps, rest for a few secs, 16 more reps slow- or go until failure! Move up in band color as quick as possible and always go a color higher than you think you can do- you’re stronger than you realize! Don't worry about bulking up (It’s ridiculous hard for women to bulk up w/o supplements). The more muscle you have- the more calories burnt. Also I do 45-55 mins of cardio 3 times a week. I have been going thru the insanity dvd in my own order. Honestly I have JUST started feeling big changes in my arms. I think body fat % is the big denominator here. In the mean time- add muscle to burn calories faster- also they won't jiggle as much and look more shapely. Good luck! If you want to talk more I’m here.
Push-Ups are the ultimate upper body strength training! I Challenge you to do 100 push ups a day... They can be 10- 10x a day... doesn't matter how it gets done. Start on your toes and then go to your knees when you feel like you can't do anymore. If you do 100 push ups a day you are bound to notice huge changes quick. In a week jump it up to 150. Then 200 an so forth. It takes literally less than 5 minutes of work to do 100 pushups- take as many breaks as you need! You can do it!
