Not so good this time, gained about a pound. I was outside all weekend and it was rather cold, and when I'm cold I get really hungry and want hot food. It certainly could have been worse though.

 

Saturday:

- Run while car is getting inspected, 5 miles minimum. NOPE. It was raining and pouring and I chickened out. I did add a three mile walk on the Highline at least.

- Head into the city, light lunch at Pret a Manger (Church St) NOPE. Got in a little too early, waited too long for lunch and made a semi bad choice - chicken parm sandwich one whole wheat bread and chips.

- NYC Marathon expo and doing stuff around the city, should get lots of steps 7 miles!

- Dinner at WD50, three plates and two glasses of wine. Went elsewhere, had probably a comparitive calorie intake though. Kept it to two glasses.

 

Sunday:

- Starbucks breakfast (coffee and pumpkin bread) Check (easy to say yes to pumpkin bread)

- Head over to watch the marathon (be there around 11:00) Check, and took the long way so I could get lots of steps.

- Brunch at the boathouse (one drink) Had two, and ate too much

- Run 8 miles on treadmill NOPE. Ran four. I'm not going to feel too bad about this because I would like to slack a little before marathon training starts.

- Protein shake (need to run to GNC and get some more) . NOPE. Was totally starved and had a chicken sandwich and chips.

 

I already had a bad day on Thursday and today (Friday) I am feeling like crap from it, so that should make it easier to not get too out of control
