I know how frustrating this can be, I've definitely been there and had a less than stellar evening of not enough movement and too much consumption myself but today is new day! Keep at it, you know you can do it! What has been helping me is to focus on the present moment. No matter what came before or what the road is ahead, recognizing that this moment that we're in is what counts and we can build on that. The other thing is to forgive myself for the slips from the path, so regret and frustration can't steal away the possibilities of this moment and allow us take the slippery slope into overeating and inactivity. This Jillian Michaels quote really stuck for me: "Transformation is not a future event it is a present activity" - the power of NOW. The possibilities are in this moment and we can grab them. Manageable steps like: the Core Challenge, 15, 20, 30 minutes of exercise, permission to have one candy instead of 2 etc., one healthy decision at a time - YOU CAN DO THIS!
