I've lost 32.2 lbs so far ... I had to lose enough to be able to start exercising (my weight is in my front and back was hurting). Dr gave me go-ahead and I'm starting small with walking around the block with the dog - and parking far from the store. I know it seems small - but at least I'm starting :)

That is great that you are able to start exercising. It doesn't seem small as starting slow is good. You will be able to gradually work your way up to doing more and more. Woo Hoo for you.
All those steps are steps in the right direction! Congrats on the 32.2lb loss - that is quite an accomplishment without being able to exercise! Keep up the good work!
Gosh ! thank you so very much for the encouragement it helps a lot! Hugs!
You're approaching exercise in a healthy way. That's big. It's amazing how many people don't listen to their doctors. Have you tried working out in the pool? It's a lot more gentle. You may find it more comfortable. Don't discount strength training either. You can modify most stretch band work to accommodate just about any issue. Many people who are in the very obese category are actually pretty strong. You have to be to carry the weight. Keep that muscle around while you lose the fat.
That weight loss isn't small and I don't think the way you are approaching getting moving is either. Good job in starting:)!
